A substantial timber built house providing very spacious accommodation in a superb elevated position with views of the sea and within walking distance of the beach. Centrally heated and well equipped and furnished throughout, Dunrod provides an excellent holiday base with significant flexibility in the accommodation.
The house is situated close to Brighouse Bay Holiday Park which has bar and eating facilities, several activities and a superb cliff top golf course. The surrounding area has much to see and do and, apart from Brighouse Bay, there are other sandy beaches within easy access. The area has wonderful sporting facilities including game, sea and coarse fishing. The nearest town Kirkcudbright, The Artists" Town, has a number of interesting galleries, Broughton House and Garden (National Trust for Scotland) and a busy working harbour and marina. The area is ideal for cyclists (including the 7Stanes mountain bike network) and walkers over a number of ways associated with the village and surrounding area including the spectacular clifftop walk with wonderful sea views.

Maximum 2 dogs with own bedding. Dogs ( for which there is an extra charge of £20 per dog per week) must be kept under strict control as the surrounding land is a working farm. No smoking permitted in the house.
